Layne Bruner, a partner, owner, and Investment Advisor at HIA, joined the team in January of 2023. He is a Montesano graduate in the class of 2013 and Washington State Graduate of 2018. Layne played Baseball for the Cougs and was later drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in 2013 and 2018. After two seasons, Layne returned to the Harbor. He was hired as a Financial Advisor, where he served the Tumwater community for 4 years. Layne has deep roots in Grays Harbor and takes pride in such a great Community. He enjoys giving back through his Nonprofit training facility serving over 200 local youth each month and is the Varsity Baseball coach for Aberdeen High School. Layne is very excited to help his community with their investing and financial planning needs. He enjoys spending time with his wife, McKenna, and two Labrador Retrievers, Hank and Skylar. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, golfing, and coaching baseball.
